Tidbits from this week

·         If a pinch or two of cinnamon removes the bitterness from coffee, a cinnamon stick used as a stirring device is the way to go.  Yum!

·         Powder removes grease.  It has been unfailing in several circumstances.  Black gunk on white skirt from pumping gas.  Shake powder, any kind, onto grease.  Don’t rub too much.   Roll up garment for a few hours.  Shake out.  Done! Perfect!

·         Snap N Go baby trend stroller. How impressively simple!  It’s just a light metal frame that you can hook any car seat into.  No unbuckling and re-buckling the kid.  We saw one in Five Guys, and another one at a flea market.

·         Florida and bugs coincide.  Fleas have been around quite a bit; those are some itching, red bumps that stay around for days!  Roaches are prevalent as well.  A poor family is having an epidemic of them.  So much so, that as ones plate is filled with food, it has to be highly guarded.  They line the walls, scurry away as you pick up something.   Ants are quite the marching little fellows as well; they mark their trails across counter tops, through walls, over the ceilings…  Inside bugs have nothing to do with a lack of cleanliness.  Tenting and “bombing” the house are the two most effective methods.

·         No we don’t have homes, but we may have a little idea about life.  Mary got asked recently if she knew how to use a can opener.  (The standard crank kind) She was preparing to open some Tuna.  harhar Lights are often turned on for us, like when playing piano without music or reading the paper by a window. Instructions are commonly given on how to go about washing dishes...if we get to!   I guess it may be hard to picture our lives.  We have the opportunity to learn lots of good ways for completing life's tasks!
