This has been kid week! Mond
ay & Tuesday with 5 kids in Lakeland, Wednesday and Thursday with a boy and girl in Land o Lakes, and now Friday and Saturday with a baby boy and a two year old boy in Brandon. We're having good times! I've counted 47 children in this field. Aren't we lucky?
Today we visited a Guyanese woman and her grandkids in Brandon. She made delicious curried goat and plantains.
We're presently at Starbucks using the internet.
A benefit of FL summers is roasted
trail mix! We normally carry a mixture of raw nuts, seeds, coconut, craisons and M&Ms in the car. These days, our handfulls are VERY CRUNCHY. The oil in the M&Ms gets hot and greasy enough, that you have to wait a bit before dumping them into your hand. Nuts turn roasted... Coconut gets browned... Heat and sun!
Looks like they enjoyed the trumpet! It's fun that the cross section of kids is so varied, too! So many cultures!!
ReplyDeleteLove the little audience around you! Were you teaching them about valves?
