Unexpected

To describe the title...
  • The word of Great Grandma's failing health: Sunday, June 3rd
  • Grandma passed away: Tuesday, June 5th
  • Kayla flies to WI: Wednesday, June 6th
  • Many, many more families members travel to WI: 6th - 8th
  • Visitation: Friday
  • Funeral: Saturday
Only one negative in an entire week of positives.  Grandma's life ended on the earth.  Her eternity of victory began.  We were reminded that the Truth didn’t mold her into something she wouldn’t have been; the need in her heart did.  148 descendents is a lot.  Most of them were in attendance to remember the life.

The Magsam

It was the first time that I've been home or seen family on a last minute notice.  There's the very nice aspect of looking forward to something, but I noticed that a last minute trip is a nice 'pick-me-up.'

The very fortunate, wonderful Daryl Boyd family situation is that everybody lives in close promity.  Because of this, we enjoyed a lot of together time.  Times of home, nieces, farm grown food, garden, crops, animals, hanging out, summer days, relatives...I value this wholesome quality of living that will always be my roots.
Just look at her!

All of us except for Mike.  Rhya wasn't pouting, she was just trying to figure out what Great Auntie Dawn was doing with her eyebrows and voice! chuckle
It overwhelms me to try to write any details, because we fit so much into such a short week, so I'll stop now and let my pictures do the talking.  Once I get them labeled! ha
