Back on the Gulf Coast, after FL rounds

A benefit about having a skeleton crew for specials meeting rounds is, we got to hear our own staff in the meetings!  It was great to work together in that way.  Our staff on rounds totaled to 3 brothers (down to 2 when Keven left for the islands) and 5 sisters.  We had one visiting bro and sis: Gerald Lonsway and Rachel Burns.  It was great to be in Miami again, along with rounds in our field, half way up the Atlantic coast, and Orlando.
Rachel had never been on an airboat ride, so Tina and I had the honor of accompanying her on the experience.  The captain made time!  No chance for the bugs to bite THAT day!

Rachel and Tina, settling in for some nature!

A purple gallinule.  They are one of the few birds who can walk on lily pads.  When they're young they have tiny claws on the edge of their wingspan to crawl out of the nest.  They say, "kek, kek, kek"
A story about a little boy named Bryden:
This family of 6 reads the bible together every morning.  The morning that the sister workers were visiting, it was Bryden's turn to read.  He chose Daniel.  Bryden is 7 years old.  After reading the 3rd chapter out loud, he closed the bible, looked up, and asked, "does anybody have any questions?"  hahaha

The other morning in North Port, there was a battle of wills.  The first view saw a Pitt Bull barking at a mama deer.  The deer stood absolutely still, staring down the bully.  A second sounding of noise was yelping.  The view was a Pitt Bull running it's head off with his tail between his legs as a mama deer chased him all the way back home.

Another view in the country of North Port was a river otter!  I thought he was quite curious, but later found out that there have been recent problems with them having rabies.  There have been a few 'run quick' stories in the news!  At any rate, I enjoyed our meeting.

He hopped up on this damn and walked toward me.

Then jumped back into the water to swim over and pay a visit.  Note the teeth he's showing off!

All for now!
